Bandipora, February 14:-Clashes broke out between government forces and youth in Saderkoot Bala area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Witnesses said, as soon the news of killing of a militant in Hajin poured in, youth intercepted the vehicles government forces at Saderkoot who were rushing to Hajin for maintaining of law and order situation and pelted stones on them. In retaliation Government forces fired tear smoke shells and pellets to disperse them in which 5 youths sustained pellet injuries and were rushed to PHC Hajin. A youth has sustained pellet injuries in his right eye and has been shifted to SKIMS for advanced treatment and 4 others has sustained minor injuries and are being treated at Hajin,hospital sources said. Earlier, 3 Armymen, and a Militant were killed in an encounter which broke out early morning in Parray Mohalla Hajin area and injuring 7 others.
